2024 Chakra - Circle of Life

Join us at our annual charity dance recital, an artistic & fun-filled presentation of “Chakra - Circle of Life” - celebrating 20 years of NNDA

All proceeds benefit Ray of Hope International Foundation’s programs in India and the Philadelphia area.

Time: Doors open at 1.45 pm; Recital 2.00 - 5.30 pm

    • January - A full length group dance performance by 30 dancers at Inglis House, the primary beneficiary/local program of Ray of Hope International Foundation.

    • February - Pragati Bengali Association – Saraswati Puja – solo and group dances by seniors Sanjana Jayaram and Nikita Rao

    • June - "Vinyasa – Divine Connections" - Nava Nritya Dance Academy''s annual charity recital in Ambler, PA dedicated to Ray of Hope International Foundation – our own charity focused on changing 120,000 lives a year

    • June - Arangetram: Solo debut of Nikita Rao with live orchestra, showcasing a highly acrobatic repertoire of classical Bharatnatyam and Navanritya thematic dances, set to 6 different languages.

    • July - Arangetram: Solo debut of Enakshi Deb with live orchestra, showcasing a rich and diverse production of classical Bharatnatyam and Navanritya dances, celebrating the divine feminine and the Ritu Ranga "Seasons of India" set to Tagorean poetry.

    • May – “Azure” Water stories celebrating 10 years with Little Mermaid drama

    • June-Arangetram of Anika Jagasia – Elements of Nature theme set to live orchestra

    • September - Arangetram of Maya Rahman - set to live orchestra
